PGMA at Hanjin

President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo is visibly happy as she interacts with the welders who are among those being trained inside the Hanjin Shipyard in Subic Zambales. The Korean Firm Hanjin has made the shipyard one of the biggest in the world after it added 1.6 billion US Dollars to its initial capital of 500 million US dollars. Once hired the workers in shipyard can expect high salaries comparable to their foreign counterparts.
